Your personal chef

Shawn Slater joined the Club as Executive Chef in July 2006 and is responsible for the operation of the kitchen, including luncheon, party banquet and catering events.

Shawn is a very talented chef who understands the Club environment. He has worked at some of the area’s finest clubs including Fox Chapel Golf Club, Pittsburgh Field Club, and Longue Vue. Most recently, he was with Curran Taylor, one of the largest food service equipment distributors in the country.

With his experience, Shawn can prepare the classic Club dishes we all love, to artfully presented gourmet meals. He participated in Longue Vue’s Chaine des Rotisseurs Dinner. The Chaine is the oldest gastronomic association in the world, devoted to promoting Gastronomy and preserving the camaraderie and pleasures of the table.

Whether you would like something not on the menu at lunch, would like to have an event catered at your home, wish to have a holiday dinner prepared, are looking for special hors d’oeuvres, or simply want a meal to go, Shawn is ready to assist you. He truly is “your personal chef”.
